The very beginning: Attila Paár, owner of WEST HUNGÁRIA BAU Kft., establishes his first business.
Our first major contract: carrying out specialized construction work on behalf of Coca-Cola HBC Hungary Kft.
This marked the beginning of what has since been a fruitful partnership with VELUX Magyarország Kft.
The dry construction division was established based on the experience gained in the increasingly successful business.
Thanks to a growing number of orders and further expansion, the company now known as WEST HUNGÁRIA BAU Kft. was established.
The first major international order is completed: Audi Hungária Motor Ltd.
The company is moving into its first company-owned headquarters in Győr, a building that will receive Knauf certification later this year.
All work is carried out by WEST HUNGÁRIA BAU Kft., a company wholly owned by Attila Paár.

WEST HUNGÁRIA BAU Kft. is celebrating its 5th anniversary. The company receives its first international order: the execution of specialized construction work for the Nagyigmánd/Győr shopping center. WHB’s annual revenue reaches 1 billion forints.
The company’s own investment project, Profilgyártó, is being implemented in Győrszentiván, and production of metal facade systems for lightweight structural frameworks is set to begin. WHB’s first office building is being constructed at 1 Juharfa Street in Győr.
The first national public procurement procedure: specialized construction work for the Thermal Hotel West.
Knauf is honoring WHB with its "Number One" Professional Achievement Award.
The office building in Biatorbágy is being built.
WEST HUNGÁRIA BAU Kft. is celebrating its 10th anniversary. The company’s first overseas client, the automotive parts manufacturer Borg Warner, has placed an order.
With the completion of the Hotel President, WHB has once again won a Quality Award, this time as the general contractor.
In Győr, WHB is carrying out renovation work on the Lloyd Palace in conjunction with the renovation of Széchenyi Square.
Construction of the award-winning drywall work at the CET Cultural and Commercial Center. WHB has a staff of 100 employees.
Another global client: NEMAK has commissioned WHB to design its production facility in Győr.
WEST HUNGÁRIA BAU Kft. is celebrating its 15th anniversary. During this anniversary year, the company will construct its own logistics warehouse and a new profile manufacturing plant in Győr.
Historical projects: As part of the WHB consortium, it is renovating and expanding the Várkert Bazár and the main building of the National University of Public Service, the Ludovika Academy.
Another major historical project: the exterior and interior restoration and renovation of the Szeged Cathedral. WHB’s annual revenue exceeds 30 billion forints.
The first site of the replacement chain is established in connection with the ongoing (maintenance) work being carried out at the Paks Nuclear Power Plant. The Historic Preservation Division begins reconstruction work on several award-winning historic buildings of great significance: Oszkó – Púpos Castle, Győr – Lutheran School, Szombathely – Bishop’s Palace, Keszthely – Festetics Castle, and the Festetics Mausoleum.
The first major stadium construction project: WHB is the general contractor for MTK’s Hidegkúti Nándor Stadium.
WEST HUNGÁRIA BAU Kft. is celebrating its 20th anniversary, marking the founding of the WHB Group, which now comprises more than 40 member companies. A unique architectural feat: the construction of 34-meter-high air tanks for the FINA 2017. The Uszód, Kisköre, Mihályfi, Miklós, and Nyírbogdány power plants.
According to a report by FORBES Magazine, WHB ranks 25th among the 100 most successful Hungarian companies. (Once again) For the construction of the new educational buildings at the Ludovika Campus.
