Following the handover and acceptance of the construction site on 1 July 2025, the construction of the MVM Neuron Office Building has been progressing continuously according to the planned schedule, and the project has now entered the highly visible structural construction phase.
MVM Neuron Office Building – Current Status of Construction
The key elements of the substructure works have been completed: all 204 ground probes have been installed, together forming the foundation of the building’s geothermal energy supply. As part of the final implementation of the dewatering system, 6 dewatering shafts were completed along with the associated drainage system, ensuring the long-term operational safety of the building.
A major milestone in the structural works was the full completion of the 9,000 m² foundation slab, which was carried out in 15 phases using approximately 3,600 m³ of watertight concrete. With the completion of the foundation slab, the project successfully met its first contractual milestone subject to delay penalties — one week ahead of the committed deadline.
The construction of the superstructure is currently progressing at full speed, with 4 tower cranes now ensuring continuous support for the works. On basement level P2, the vertical structures have been completed, including the construction of 413 linear metres of lining walls, as well as the concreting of all columns and stairwell cores.
Regarding the horizontal structures, formwork for the P2 floor slab has reached approximately 80% completion out of a total area of 7,600 m², of which around 70% has already been concreted. In parallel, formwork, reinforcement installation, and concreting have also begun for the P1 vertical load-bearing structures on the completed slab sections.
In coordination with the structural works and in consultation with the structural engineer, the dismantling of the anchors and pipe struts supporting the diaphragm wall has begun. This represents an important step towards the formation of the final structural system.
The current phase of the project clearly illustrates the transition from substructure works to full-scale structural construction, while execution continues to progress according to schedule in all major areas.
