The renovation of Széchenyi Square in Győr was carried out between 2009 and 2010 under the general contracting of WHB, involving the comprehensive revitalization of one of the city’s most important historical and community spaces.
The following were completed as part of the project:
new decorative paving and stone surfaces,
construction of fountains and water features,
creation of outdoor dining areas,
landscaping and planting,
modernization and renovation of street lighting.
As a result of the renovation, the square has once again become one of Győr’s central, vibrant locations, playing a key role in the city’s cultural and tourism sectors.
