As part of the “This Space Is Ours” project, one of Kaposvár’s key urban community spaces has been revitalized through comprehensive urban design and general construction work.
The goal of the project was to create a more livable, modern community space that supports the daily needs of residents and visitors through a variety of functions.
Key elements of the project:
creation of new pedestrian surfaces and decorative paving,
establishment of community and relaxation zones,
installation of street furniture, urban furniture, and event space elements,
green spaces and planting,
modern public lighting and utility infrastructure upgrades,
barrier-free public space design.
The revitalized square has become a distinctive, community-building hub in the city, suitable for hosting cultural, family, and urban events.
