As part of the project, WHB carried out the general construction work for a state-of-the-art, high-capacity waste sorting plant in Szombathely, as part of the West Transdanubia Regional Waste Management Program.
The facility’s purpose was the efficient pretreatment and mechanical sorting of municipal solid waste, as well as the recovery of the highest possible proportion of recyclable fractions, in accordance with the environmental objectives of the KEOP program.
