The comprehensive architectural, mechanical, and electrical renovation of ETO Park in Győr began in 2022, with the WHB Group serving as both owner and contractor. The goal was to create a modern, multifunctional Experience Center that would simultaneously serve commercial, community, sports, and administrative needs.
WHB carried out the renovation in a comprehensive manner, covering the entire facility. During the works:
Architectural renovation
complete replacement of flooring in public areas,
complete painting and aesthetic renovation of stairwells and hallways,
complete modernization of restrooms,
complete renewal of the paving in front of the main entrances
Modernization of mechanical and electrical systems
complete HVAC modernization with the conversion of the heating and cooling system,
renovation of the building electrical system, installation of new LED lighting,
modernization of doors and windows, with improved energy efficiency
Development of external infrastructure
redesign and construction of parking lots and the road network,
installation of a ticketless parking system,
construction of a covered motorcycle and bicycle storage facility,
installation of 14 new electric vehicle charging stations
Operational and amenity improvements
Following the renovation, WHB Facility Management also took over the building’s operations, significantly raising the standard of service:
creation of a new children’s corner, multifunctional spaces, and community zones,
relocation of offices supporting public services (Government Service Center, Győr-Szol, Pannon-Víz, etc.),
expansion of healthcare services (diagnostic and outpatient functions),
the continuous opening of new retail units (dm, Pepco, EcoFamily, Háda, CCC, HalfPrice, ALDI),
continuous improvement of interior decoration and experiential elements
Project Outcomes
Thanks to WHB’s work, ETO Park has become a leading 29,000 m² service and entertainment center in Győr and the surrounding region. Through its multifunctional spaces, it:
has been revitalized,
provides a high level of comfort for visitors,
offers a wide range of business and residential services,
and operates with modern, energy-efficient infrastructure.
