The Sopron Integrated Law Enforcement Center is one of the city’s most advanced public safety facilities, delivered by WEST HUNGÁRIA BAU Ltd. as a full-scale general contractor project. The aim of the development was to create a complex capable of serving multiple law enforcement units, providing a high level of operational security, modern infrastructure, and efficient inter-agency cooperation.
The approximately 11,526 m² complex includes modern facilities for the Sopron Disaster Management Directorate and the Sopron Police Headquarters. WHB’s scope of work covered the full structural construction using steel and reinforced concrete systems, the installation of modern mechanical and electrical networks, the development of high-security operational and building management systems, the creation of contemporary office and operational spaces, as well as the construction of the external infrastructure, including parking areas, access routes, and stormwater management systems.
The facility meets both the specialized technical and security requirements of law enforcement operations and the sustainability expectations of modern public buildings. Through WHB’s execution, Sopron gained a new, high-capacity law enforcement center designed for reliable long-term operation.
