On the site of the former street level at Megyeháza Square, a two-level underground parking garage with a capacity of 279 spaces was constructed in place of the previous 12,000 m², 125-space parking facility, significantly easing parking challenges in the county seat.
Above the underground garage, at the same level as Árpád Square, a new event and community space was created, featuring green islands, street furniture, as well as пить fountains and a decorative fountain.
The event square and adjacent pedestrian areas were finished with paving stone covering a total surface of 6,400 m².
