The 24,600-square-metre development in Debrecen demonstrates the company’s ability to deliver high-capacity facilities designed for intensive goods handling and continuous logistics operations.
Another major element of WHB’s logistics portfolio is the development of the industrial park in Páty. From 2017 onwards, WHB participated in the design and construction of NIPÜF’s logistics warehouse facility in Páty in several phases. The first phase comprised a 12,000-square-metre hall, followed by a further 10,000-square-metre extension, while an additional 32,000-square-metre development phase was subsequently launched. Together, the phases represent 54,000 square metres of industrial space and involve complex structural, technological and infrastructure development tasks.
Another significant reference is the Mömax–Möbelix logistics and commercial centre in Nagytarcsa. During the construction of the nearly 48,000-square-metre facility, WHB’s scope included the construction of large-scale reinforced concrete and steel structures, industrial flooring and heavy-duty surfaces, the complete mechanical and electrical infrastructure, as well as warehouse, logistics, service and customer areas.
Facilities Tailored to Manufacturing and Technological Requirements
Manufacturing plants and technology-intensive facilities represent another strong pillar of WHB’s industrial portfolio. The Rheinmetall project in Szeged is among the company’s significant recent industrial projects. The high-quality delivery of the approximately 14,000-square-metre manufacturing hall demonstrates WHB’s ability to undertake projects where, beyond conventional industrial hall construction, a high degree of technical coordination and precise alignment with the client’s specific operational requirements are essential.
The Adient manufacturing hall in Mór is another outstanding large-scale industrial reference. During the general contracting of the industrial facility, delivered between 2016 and 2017, WHB carried out the full range of construction works required for the modern production infrastructure. WHB subsequently also worked for Adient in Mezőlak, where the company delivered an extension to an existing manufacturing facility.
The development of the Erbslöh industrial facility in Győr similarly involved complex requirements. The project comprised the creation of a polishing and anodising plant through the extension of an existing industrial building. In such investments, construction must directly support the technological processes, making the integration of structural, mechanical, electrical and operational considerations a fundamental requirement.
WHB’s specialist construction capabilities are also demonstrated by its work at the Infineon facility in Cegléd. In 2021, the company carried out specialist interior works, meeting modern cleanroom technology and industrial requirements. At the Bosch Campus in Budapest, WHB was involved in the structural construction works of a 100,000-square-metre office complex.

At Audi’s facilities in Győr, WHB has been carrying out general contracting and specialist interior works under a framework agreement since 1998. Developments responding to the evolving needs of automotive production must be delivered in a way that ensures a safe and efficient operating environment over the long term.
A similarly comprehensive partnership has been established at VELUX’s facilities in Fertőd and Fertőszentmiklós. WHB’s projects covering more than 100,000 square metres have included new manufacturing and logistics halls, warehouses, office and welfare areas, roof refurbishments, internal road network developments, truck parking facilities and other elements of site infrastructure. The projects have encompassed new construction, refurbishment and smaller-scale modifications, demonstrating WHB’s flexible approach and ability to adapt its involvement to the operational needs of each facility.
At BorgWarner’s site in Oroszlány, manufacturing hall extensions, office conversions and general contracting works associated with a 55,000-square-metre automotive assembly facility were delivered across several development phases, with approximately 13,500 square metres covered by the manufacturing hall extension and office transformation works. In Mosonmagyaróvár, several phases of manufacturing, welfare and office buildings were constructed and extended for Greiner Bio-One, while at Nemak’s Győr facility, WHB carried out general contracting and specialist interior works while maintaining uninterrupted industrial production.

The value of a modern industrial facility is determined by far more than the floor area of the building itself. Equally important are the infrastructure required for operations, energy supply, internal road networks, material handling, loading areas, employee facilities, offices, fire protection systems and the coordinated provision for future expansion.

The project incorporates a manufacturing hall, metalworking and welding workshops, assembly areas, office and service functions, as well as external infrastructure supporting heavy vehicle traffic.
