West Hungária Bau Kft. has been supporting people living in disadvantaged circumstances, as well as children and young people with disabilities or illnesses, for many years.
Last Friday, we delivered 600 kilograms of non-perishable food, toys and clothing to the residents of the Békés County Social and Child Protection Centre and Regional Child Protection Service in Békéscsaba. The Service performs social and child protection duties and cares for a total of 393 children and young people, including children with disabilities, young people struggling with addiction, and children whose families are temporarily or permanently unable to provide the appropriate conditions for their upbringing.
The donation, worth approximately HUF 750,000, reached those in need with the help of Éva Szijártó, using WHB’s truck and driver.
“As every year, our donation trip could not be missed this year either. My truck is packed full, and this time our destination is Békéscsaba.
The institution cares for and supports the development of children and young people with intellectual disabilities. It has 192 places, but the donations can also be distributed to several other homes across the county.
