WHB’s annual team-building event went beyond the traditional concept of a corporate gathering. This year, the primary objective was to ensure that participants returned to their everyday work inspired by new professional insights, fresh perspectives, and a mindset focused on continuous development. Held in Győr, the event’s professional programme clearly reflected WHB’s forward-looking approach and its commitment to fostering an innovative workplace where growth and learning are integral to the company culture.
The programme opened with remarks from the company’s leadership, reaffirming WHB’s long-term strategic vision. Continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and the purposeful integration of emerging technologies remain fundamental pillars of the organisation’s development.
Digitalisation and artificial intelligence formed the central theme of the day. In the opening session, WHB’s own experts presented the company’s key development initiatives, demonstrating that WHB is not merely keeping pace with industry trends but actively shaping them. The introduction of the company’s new ERP system, together with digital design optimisation solutions, illustrates how technological innovation is helping projects become more efficient, transparent, and consistently deliver higher quality outcomes.
The presentations made it clear that, at WHB, digitalisation is not an end in itself—it is a tool designed to support people. This philosophy was further reinforced through sessions exploring the practical applications of artificial intelligence in everyday work, as well as a keynote by television presenter and communications expert Zsuzsa Demcsák, who offered a fresh perspective on the relationship between communication and AI. The speakers highlighted how artificial intelligence can significantly improve efficiency by automating routine tasks while supporting learning, decision-making, and high-quality professional performance.
At the same time, the programme conveyed a clear message: technological progress does not diminish the importance of the human factor. An inspiring presentation on communication and personal impact demonstrated that trust, authenticity, and the ability to tell compelling stories remain uniquely human strengths that technology cannot replace. As one of the event’s key messages stated: “AI can support people, but it cannot become human.” Ultimately, it is people who continue to create real value.
The professional programme also featured presentations focusing on personal effectiveness and conscious leadership. Representing FranklinCovey Hungary, Dr. Judit Szilágyi explored the true meaning of proactivity and its practical application in everyday work, offering participants valuable new perspectives on personal and professional performance. This focus on inspiration continued with an engaging keynote by Katalin Kovács, three-time Olympic champion and 31-time world champion sprint kayaker, who shared personal experiences illustrating the importance of perseverance, mental resilience, and lifelong development.
This year’s professional team-building programme clearly demonstrated that, for WHB, community building and professional development are not separate objectives but mutually reinforcing priorities. The company continues to create a workplace where knowledge, innovation, and human values are given equal importance—an environment where colleagues not only work together but grow together.
