MagyarBrands has been the competition for outstanding Hungarian brands since 2010. The programme evaluates only Hungarian brands that were created in Hungary or in whose establishment or foundation Hungarians played a role. In addition to the above, the brand must also meet at least one of the following criteria:
the brand is under Hungarian ownership;
the brand’s “production” takes place in Hungary;
or the brand receives a high identity score during the committee’s evaluation.
Applications for certification can be submitted in four categories: Excellent Consumer Brand, Excellent Business Brand, Innovative Brand, or Employer Brand.
In 2019, West Hungária Bau Kft. was awarded the Excellent Business Brand certification, meaning that we achieved a high standard across all five value criteria defined by the committee: identity, reputation, brand building, tradition, and reliability.
Unfortunately, due to the restrictive measures introduced as a result of the pandemic, the award gala — where we will also be able to receive the glass trophy — will only be held at a later date. However, we have already received the certificate, and the MagyarBrands Excellent Business Brand seal is now also displayed on our website.
In connection with receiving the certification, owner and Managing Director Attila Paár shared the following thoughts:
