WHB Is Committed to Supporting Healthcare

WEST HUNGÁRIA BAU Kft. is pleased to announce that in 2026 it will once again support the Cardiac Catheterisation Foundation in Győr with a donation of HUF 4 million. Our company has been actively supporting the development of local healthcare for more than two decades, and the total value of our contributions has now reached HUF 19 million. This year’s donation will be used by the foundation for development purposes and the purchase of new equipment, thereby contributing to the continuous modernisation of cardiology care in Győr.

In recent years, WEST HUNGÁRIA BAU Kft. has also participated in several development projects at the Petz Aladár University Teaching Hospital of Győr-Moson-Sopron County, supporting the hospital’s departments through equipment purchases and renovation works. Our long-term commitment faithfully reflects our motto: “We create lasting value” — through each of our contributions, we create enduring value for the community.

Supporting healthcare is one of the most stable and defining elements of WHB’s corporate social responsibility. Through partnerships spanning several decades, the company does not think in terms of one-off donations, but rather in long-term, impact-driven support. One well-known example of this is WHB’s support for the Szívkatéterezés Győr Foundation, whose aim is to directly improve the care of patients with cardiovascular diseases and to ensure the conditions required for modern catheter-based interventions.

WHB contributes to easing the burden on the healthcare system and improving patients’ quality of life not only as a social stakeholder, but also as a responsible economic actor.

Through the 2026 donation, the Szívkatéterezés Győr Foundation will once again be able to allocate the amount offered to the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment and to its own developments, supporting patient care and raising the standard of local healthcare.

At the press event held in connection with the handover of the donation, Professor Dr Csaba András Dézsi attended in the presence of the management of the Petz Aladár University Teaching Hospital, while Ferenc Hajba, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, represented the Szívkatéterezés Győr Foundation.

WEST HUNGÁRIA BAU Kft. remains committed to creating lasting value — not only through its construction projects, but also in the field of corporate social responsibility, contributing to the continuous improvement of the health and well-being of our community.
