WHB recently honoured its long-serving colleagues at a ceremonial gala, recognising employees who have been part of the company’s team for 10, 15, 20 or 25 years. The event was not only an internal gesture of appreciation, but also an important milestone: it clearly reflects the values and stability that have characterised WHB over the past nearly three decades.
For almost 30 years, WHB has been a key player in the Hungarian construction industry. Continuous development, growing client confidence in the competitive market, and a steadily increasing workforce all demonstrate that the company is not only successful from a business perspective, but also remains an attractive and reliable employer in the long term.
The figures behind long-term commitment
A total of 70 employees received recognition at the jubilee gala, an outstanding number even in light of the company’s size and dynamic growth. The distribution of the honourees clearly shows that, at WHB, long-term commitment is not the exception, but a consciously built reality:
10 years at WHB: 34 employees
15 years at WHB: 14 employees
20 years at WHB: 15 employees
25 years at WHB: 7 employees
These figures clearly prove that WHB takes a long-term view not only in its projects, but also in its human resource management. The knowledge, experience and loyalty of colleagues who have worked for the company for decades play a key role in enabling WHB to operate on stable foundations and in a predictable manner, even in a constantly changing economic environment.
Stability and growth go hand in hand
WHB’s development over the past nearly 30 years has been continuous, while always being characterised by professional grounding and gradual progress. As a result, the company combines decades of experience with the ability to renew itself. WHB continues to increase its number of employees year after year, while placing strong emphasis on ensuring that knowledge transfer and cooperation between generations take place naturally within the organisation.
The work of the employees celebrating their jubilees is closely intertwined with WHB’s success story: they have been part of the professional milestones that laid the foundations for the company’s current position. Their personal commitment plays a defining role not only in the achievements of the past, but also in the successes of the future.
Recognition for the past, confidence in the future
The jubilee gala carried a clear message: for WHB, people represent the greatest value. The company’s long-term success would be unimaginable without the professionals who have worked with dedication for decades towards shared goals.
Through the jubilee event, WHB not only recognised past achievements, but also reaffirmed the mindset that will shape its future: sustainable development and lasting value can be built on stable foundations, valued colleagues and success achieved together.
“A company’s true value is defined not only by the results it achieves, but also by the people who commit themselves to it for many years, even decades. WHB has now been present in the market for almost 30 years, and this stability would be unimaginable without the colleagues who contribute to our shared successes every day through their dedicated work, professional expertise and loyalty.
We are particularly proud to be able to celebrate such a large number of colleagues marking important jubilees. This is clear confirmation that WHB takes a long-term view not only in projects, but also in human relationships. We believe that predictable operations, mutual respect and a supportive corporate culture are core values that provide security for both our employees and our partners.
The example set by our long-serving colleagues shows that development and stability are not opposites. By building on their experience and commitment, we can ensure the professional continuity that is one of the most important guarantees of WHB’s future success.”
